These weavers create each piece of rug using their natural creativity, traditional skills and fantastic imagination coupled with teamwork making appreciable rugs which are excellent combination of aesthetics, comfort and utility. We respect the talent and creativity of these artists/weavers who weave beautiful rugs not just for money but also to carry on their rich tradition of art and creativity. They live in small towns of North India with their families in clusters. Men weave the rugs on wooden hand-looms whereas women do the yarn hank preparation. Their lifestyle and standard of living is moderate but much better than vast Indian population of unskilled or semi-skilled labourers.
